The things we carry become part of us.
With Things, I focused on the small objects a woman carries with her — a bag, a lipstick, a favorite case. There is something very personal in what she chooses and how she uses it.

I wanted to give those familiar objects a jewelry form. To reduce a bag to the scale of a necklace. To make a silver case that still opens. To preserve clasps, lids, and small mechanisms that invite you to touch and use them.

For me, the gesture matters as much as the object — opening it, holding it, reaching for it. Silver makes these ordinary actions more deliberate.
